Standard rollers
furnished in Anchor roller turns are heavy duty components machined from
tubing. The outer race is turned in the roller; both tread and race are
hardened for maximum wear resistance. Two rows of ten 1/2" diameter
balls in each roller provide more the ample capacity to withstand chain
pulls in excess of any that might be encountered in service.
The
rollers are mounted in segment assembly with 1/2" diameter pins which
are drilled for grease lubrication and are equipped with a conventional
pressure fitting. Roller pins of 9/16", 5/8" and 3/4" diameter can be
provided upon request. |
Anchor roller
turns can be provided with lubricated-for-life rollers if desired.
These rollers offer advantages in locations which are difficult to
service where temperatures are moderate. They are similar in design to
the standard roller, except that additional seal are provided to retain
the special, long-term lubricant. Since this type of roller is
lubricated for life, no lubrication fitting is provided. |
