Anchor roller
turn brackets are fabricated from sturdy steel plate and bar stock and
are securely bolted to the main turn frame. The brackets support two
bars which are accurately bent to the nominal radius. The rollers are
mounted between and supported by the curved bars; such an assembly of
rollers and bars is know as a segment. When ordering complete roller
turns, dimension (D), the distance from top of rail to centerline of
chain must be specified. In fabricating horizontal turns, Anchor takes
extreme care to accurately bend the rail without deforming it or
cramping the flange. All rail are bent without heating. Rail deformation
and flange cramping are conditions which must be avoided to insure the
greatest possible track and trolley life. |
